Physical fitness is the foundation of all human achievement. Guided by the timeless wisdom of “Sareeramadyamkhalu Dharma Sadhanam” and the belief that a sound mind thrives in a sound body, SareerikShikshan stands as the first pillar of our Pancha Mukhi Shikshana Padhathi.
Our approach to physical education is both structured and holistic. Each school day begins with a ten-minute warm-up during the Prarthana Sabha, setting a positive, energetic tone for the day. Physical training activities are thoughtfully tailored to suit different age groups, aiming to develop strength, flexibility, and endurance.

7. SISUVATIKA (KINDERGARTEN)
Sisuvatika is a distinctive child development programme envisioned by Vidya Bharati, where a child is viewed as an integrated and evolving whole. Unlike conventional pre-primary systems, Sisuvatika does not follow a rigid syllabus; instead, it offers a thoughtfully designed environment where children learn through real-life experiences, nurturing subconscious and holistic development.
At the heart of Sisuvatika is “The Chechi,” a caring guide who lovingly leads young children through their earliest stages of learning—treating each child with warmth, patience, and individual attention. The classroom is a space of joy and exploration, where children naturally acquire confidence, essential life skills, and a strong sense of self-worth in a safe and non-threatening atmosphere.
The programme unfolds in two stages—Arun, representing the tender first rays of the sun, and Udaya, symbolizing the rising light of awakening. This beautiful transition mirrors the child’s journey from innocence to early understanding.
To ensure quality and consistency, all teachers undergo a three-month residential Sisuvatika Training Course under Bharatheeya Vidya Nikethan, guided by experts in child psychology and holistic education. Regular in-service refresher programs keep our educators inspired, updated, and aligned with the spirit of this unique early childhood initiative.
